RG Rajasthani Literature

Rajasthani literature written in various genres starting from 1000 AD. But, it is generally agreed that modern Rajasthani literature began with the works of Surajmal Misran. His most important works are the Vansa Bhaskara and the Vir Satsai. The Vir Satsai is a collection of hundreds of couplets. Medieval Rajasthani literature is mostly poetry only and it is more about the heroic poetry mentioning of the great kings and fighters of the Rajasthan.
राजस्थानी साहित्य विभिन्न शैलियों में लिखा गया है जो 1000 ईस्वी से शुरू होता है। लेकिन, आम तौर पर यह माना जाता है कि आधुनिक राजस्थानी साहित्य सूरजमल मिसरान के कामों से शुरू हुआ था। उनकी सबसे महत्वपूर्ण कृतियाँ वंस भास्कर और वीर सतसई हैं। वीर सतसई सैकड़ों दोहों का संग्रह है। मध्यकालीन राजस्थानी साहित्य ज्यादातर कविता ही है और यह राजस्थान के महान राजाओं और सेनानियों का उल्लेख करते हुए वीर कविता के बारे में अधिक है।
