RG Music and Musician

Folk music is music that is played or sung by ordinary people (not professional musicians). It is traditional music that people learn by listening to other people playing it and then copying them. We say that the tradition is “orally transmitted” or “handed down orally”, meaning that the music is not written down but taught by speaking. Every country has its own traditional music. The folk song is part of folk music. A folk-singer is a person who sings folk songs.
लोक संगीत वह संगीत है जो सामान्य लोगों (पेशेवर संगीतकार नहीं) द्वारा बजाया या गाया जाता है। यह पारंपरिक संगीत है जिसे लोग दूसरे लोगों को सुनकर और फिर उसे कॉपी करके सीखते हैं। हम कहते हैं कि परंपरा “मौखिक रूप से प्रसारित” या “मौखिक रूप से सौंप दी गई” है, जिसका अर्थ है कि संगीत नीचे नहीं लिखा जाता है बल्कि बोलकर सिखाया जाता है। हर देश का अपना पारंपरिक संगीत होता है। लोक गीत लोक संगीत का हिस्सा है। लोक-गायक वह व्यक्ति होता है जो लोक गीत गाता है।
